The Great British Vineyards Guide

Here are some of our wonderful volunteers gathering for coffee and cake while picking the Chardonnay. This year's harvest came early and was very compact, we finished on 6th October. Overall, we had an excellent crop of 22 tonnes of good fruit and now it is all down to Matthieu, our contract winemaker to do his best.

The autumn is beautiful in the vineyard so book a visit and taste the new wine. Book a guided tour and tasting. 

Our New Wine - Blanc de Noir 2021 - Perfect for Celebrating

We are excited about our first Blanc de Noir, a white sparkling made with 100% Pinot Noir from the 2021 harvest using the classic bottle fermentation method. Come to the our Vineyard Shop on a Saturday to try it, along with our other wines.

This is My Theatre Return with Great Expectations

This is My Theatre are putting on two performances of Great Expectations in the great barn on Sunday November 23rd at 3.00 pm and 7.00 pm book tickets here. Our wines will be available from 2.00 pm, so you can enjoy a glass before the performance or buy some ready for Christmas. As parking on site is limited, please use public transport if you can - we're next to Chartham Station and there is a bus-stop opposite.

Art in the Vineyard Gallery 

In our larger gallery, there are works by local artist, Mark Farrow, who is based in Tenterden. Mark loves working with landscapes, seascapes and still life – creating beautiful and aesthetic pieces that blur the boundaries between digital collage and fine art. All the prints are original artworks created as prints, not reproductions of original artworks in another medium. All his pictures are for sale and would make beautiful gifts.

In our small gallery, there are pictures by Chloe Osbourne, who lives nearby, which are combinations of  resin, acrylic paint, tissue and light fast ink, layered on to glass to achieve a luminosity and ethereal quality. She also has beautiful hand-made jewellery which make perfect gifts.
