Friday Street Vineyard
Grapes were first introduced at Friday Street in 2007, with the first harvest following in the autumn of 2009. Our South facing slopes provide an ideal grape-growing environment as they are exposed to lots of sun and are relatively frost-free.
The varieties of grapes grown include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Meunier, which are used to produce a range of still and sparkling white wines. Our grapes currently supply Chapel Down, a well-renowned and award-winning local vineyard, whose sparkling white wine was served at the reception of a certain recent Royal Wedding!
